On 21st September, I’ll be lacing up my trainers and taking on the 5K - not just as a personal challenge but as a mission of love and compassion.

This year, I’m running to raise money for The Bosnia Trust. Many have lived through loss, displacement and unimaginable pain. Even decades after the war, they continue to face poverty and hardship yet they hold on to faith and dignity in ways that truly humble me.

So what does The Bosnia Trust do?

✅ Runs projects like the Cow Project, which helps families earn a sustainable income and rebuild their lives with dignity.

✅ Offers psychological support to widows through the expertise of a counselor

✅ Supports vulnerable adults and the elderly by providing practical care and suitable accommodation facilities

My goal is to raise £150 so we can reach more widows and vulnerable adults with life-changing support providing food, warmth and the reassurance that they are not forgotten.

Every donation, no matter the amount, is a lifeline. It’s healing trauma, warmth in the winter and a reminder that we stand together in humanity and faith.
