    About the Role

    We are searching for the right person to join our small but committed team as a Part-Time Project Manager. This is a flexible role, requiring just 4 hours per week, and ideal for someone organised, proactive, and passionate about the work we do in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

    Hours: 4 hours per week
    Pay: £45 per hour
    Location: Remote/Flexible (with occasional meetings)
    Deadline: Ongoing—we will appoint once we find the right candidate

    The Role

    We are seeking a proactive and organised Part-Time Charity Project Worker to support the planning, delivery, and reporting of small-scale projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for international development, community work, or Balkan region affairs to make a tangible impact in a flexible and rewarding role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in the coordination and administration of ongoing and new charity projects

    • Liaise with partners in Bosnia and the UK to ensure smooth project delivery

    • Support grant applications, reporting, and project documentation

    • Help promote the charity's work through written updates and social media (optional)

    • Attend virtual check-ins or occasional in-person meetings as required

    What We’re Looking For

    • Proven experience in charity, community, or project work

    • Strong communication and organisational skills

    • Self-motivated and able to work independently

    • Knowledge of the Balkans or interest in post-conflict development is a plus

    • Good writing skills (for short reports or updates)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a simple social media content plan

    • Create and schedule engaging posts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

    • Monitor engagement and respond to messages/comments where appropriate

    • Coordinate with the team to highlight ongoing projects, events, and impact stories

    • Track basic performance metrics and suggest improvements

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience managing social media for an organisation or cause

    • Strong written and visual storytelling skills

    • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and stay organised

    • A good eye for design and tools like Canva (or similar)

    • Passion for Bosnia Trust’s mission and the communities we serve

    • Availability for 4 hours per week, on a flexible schedule

  • Are you looking for a unique opportunity to teach abroad, immerse yourself in a new culture, and explore one of Europe’s most stunning and historic countries?

    Join us this August 2017 to teach conversational English in Bosnia-Herzegovina through a rewarding and enriching summer programme.

    📚 Teaching Programme Overview

    You’ll be teaching Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm, with lesson plans, resources, and support provided by experienced educators. Your focus will be on developing English-speaking skills through conversation and interactive learning.

    You’ll be teaching three groups:

    • Group 1: Children aged 12–15

    • Group 2: Local school teachers

    • Group 3: Children aged 6–9

    No weekend or evening teaching — allowing plenty of time to explore Bosnia.

    You’ll have the chance to discover Bosnia’s rich history and breathtaking landscapes with guided tours and local experiences, including:
