Support a Lifeline: Mental Health for Widows - the Mothers of Srebrenica

Thirty years have passed, but for the widows of the Bosnian War, the echoes of the past remain a daily reality. The Mothers of Srebrenica—women who witnessed the unthinkable and lost their husbands, sons, and entire worlds—continue to carry the heavy burden of trauma, isolation, and grief.

The Goal: £1,500 for One Month of Care

My immediate target is £1,500. This amount covers the total monthly salary and operational costs for a dedicated, specialised counsellor.

I am working with Bosnia Trust and Arrihla Tours.

At Bosnia Trust, we believe that healing is a right, not a luxury. We are raising funds to provide these resilient women with the professional, compassionate counselling they need to navigate their trauma and find a sense of peace.

We also accept Zakat for the Widows. All Zakat donations will be directed specifically to the Widows Zakat Fund, providing essential financial aid and direct support to the vulnerable widows in the region.
