Maymuna’s Year of Baking for Orphans and Widows in Bosnia

Assalamu alaikum! My name is Maymuna and I’m 10 years old.

I love baking, so I’m spending the next year baking to help children in Bosnia who have lost their parents, and mums who are raising their families on their own. I’ll be making cookies for bake sales and orders, and every penny raised will go to Bosnia Trust’s orphans and widows work.

My goal: £1,000 by August 2027

In 2027, I’ll be visiting Bosnia with my scout group, and I’d love to be able to tell the families there how many people back home are thinking of them.

Many families in Bosnia are struggling, and some children don’t have a mum or dad to look after them. Your donation helps Bosnia Trust give them food, warm clothes and support so they can go to school and feel cared for.
