2026 has been our busiest year of trips yet. Here's a quick look back:
Discover Bosnia (23–26 April)
This was a joint WCF x Bosnia Trust trip, a four-day journey through Sarajevo and Srebrenica. Participants ran the Sarajevo 5K, and a Half Marathon. The trip also featured scenic landscapes and cable car rides, Bosnian food and coffee culture, guided tours and community connections. Everyone taking part was fundraising for widows and vulnerable adults in Bosnia.
Walk with Purpose (10–14 May)
A five-day trip combining walking, reflection and connection in support of vulnerable communities, open to sisters only. The programme included guided walks and treks, visits to beneficiaries, exploring historic towns and hearing survivors’ stories. Each walker was encouraged to aim for £1,000 in fundraising, with the money going to widow support programmes and care for elderly and special needs individuals.
Discover the Magic of Mount Maglić (20–27 August)
An expedition to summit Bosnia’s tallest mountain, Mount Maglić, at 2,386 m. The trek rooted in reflection, connection and humanitarian impact. The package covered accommodation, food, expert guides, activities, transport and visits to beneficiaries, and the trip also included historic towns and local stories.
