Alhamdulillah, Nazrul Islam’s family and friends came together to fund a greenhouse as sadaqa jariya in his memory.
Who it helps
The greenhouse was gifted to a widow in Bosnia and her four children. The widow has supported the family on her own ever since. After household bills, they are often left with around 50 marks (about £20) at the end of the month.
What’s happening now
The greenhouse has been in place since January and is already in use. A crop grown for tea was in the ground, and vegetables will follow. The income from the greenhouse will help the family repair their roof and support their child’s education.
Every season it grows food and income for the family, the reward continues for Nazrul Islam and for everyone who gave, in sha Allah.
